OK, so I am seriously impressed by this lady. I wish I could be more like her. However, I would have to draw the line at the toilet paper.

I'm not sure if I have a harder time with the toilet paper or crocheted tampons. Somehow, reusing those seems difficult & unsanitary to me. I sure hope they are a small gauge crochet! I guess I don't see the TP as much different than cloth diapers which I'm considering.

I think to be able to pull off this lifestyle, you'd HAVE to be stay at home just to keep up with the laundry. I wondering how much more water they use for washing everything, and if that isn't equal or worse than using some paper.

Hmmm. Good food for thought.

tampons and menstrual pads....EW.

Anything in the bathroom is a bit too far, but the other stuff is a great idea!

I am all for going green, but that is a lot. I agree that there has to be some sanitation issues with reusing the bathroom products. Let alone think of how much laundry children already produce and then think of everything that is used and thrown away that would now have to be washed, she must have 2 washing machines.
