My rugelach dough chilled in the fridge for 24 hours. I've been trying to get it to roll out for 2 hours and it's just a sticky, gooey mess.

Awww I hate sticky and uncooperative dough! I'm a fellow TWD baker, and I was thinking that it would be nice if we all could chip in and get Laurie some small token/gift for all the work she does. I wonder why it's giving you so much trouble. I hate -- absolutely loathe -- rolling out dough, and I found this remarkably easy to work with. I hope things improve for you!
Oh, too bad! A couple of suggestions -- sprinkle dough really well with flour, and roll out between two sheets of plastic wrap. Then chill again before trying to peel off the plastic.
Or you could just give up on this one for now...There's always next week!
